About Me

Born in Scotland, I began learning Piano at the age of 5. Accordion followed shortly afterwards.

I studied Music in Glasgow at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. My choice of home since 2006 is Berlin, where since moving here I have been teaching at the Musikschule Bertheau and Morgenstern.

While learning with me, with me one learns not only traditional classical repertoire, but also varoius musical styles, such as Jazz, Pop, Folk Music, Tango, Klezmer and Musette. Through improvisation creativity is encouraged and developed.

It is important that my students receive an all-round musical education.

Attention is also given to body posture, in order to avoid unnecessary injuries.

It is of utmost importance for me to share my passion, my enthusiasm and my love of music through teaching and performing.
